After two intense months of renovations on our new location, we have finally moved in! When we first found this space, it was occupied by a construction company for nearly 20 years, and we really needed to look beyond all the various heavy equipment to see what it could be… So we began dreaming about the possibilities looked at the best possible use for the available space.

With the help of some great carpenters, we were able to work out all the details. It is seriously amazing what these guys can do with wood, nails and a hammer! Thank you all! Once the walls were up, then the fun began with choosing colors! Thank you to Scott Webb, of Blue Sky Productions, for going way beyond the call of duty in getting the colors just right!!!

There were an endless amount of details to cover and choices to make in getting the task completed. Sometimes it felt like it would never end… Thank you so much to everyone who has helped us to make our studio such a great place for running the business and holding classes. A perfect place for creating!

When I started the Hawaii DECO branch over 11 years ago, I could never imagine having such a great space! This new location is very close to the Ward Warehouse at Ward Avenue, right in town. We are fortunate to have a ground floor retail storefront with plenty of parking. That means no more stairs! We have been looking for space like this for years... Finally, it came to us and we are so happy with this move and looking forward to each and every new day.

We have chosen a pretty simple layout and paint colors in this space. The whole idea was for the clay works to be the focal point and letting these be these pieces be the main stars. Please stop by to say “Hello” if you are in the area.

It turned out to be a lot of fun and working with Manolo. He is a really nice person and a great professional. I am told the segment will aired on Monday June 11th on KHON2. It will be part of their morning show "Wake Up 2 Day". Manolo, Thank you so much for coming by! You make really pretty flowers!!!
